Vivian was born and raised in Southern California. She began her migration to beautiful Northern California by attending the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). She graduated from UCSB with honors and a degree in biopsychology. She then received her degree in dentistry at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco. She was excited to begin her family practice in Mill Valley where her husband, James, was born and raised – and has now practiced in Mill Valley for over 30 years. James and Vivian have enjoyed being part of their community and are thankful to have raised their two grown daughters in Mill Valley.
Dr. Broadway continues to grow her extensive knowledge and pursue her education regarding the latest dental procedures, technologies, and practices. She has attended seminars and workshops at the Spear Center and completed a mini-residency in sleep health at the UCLA Dental School. She is a family dentist and provides comprehensive dental care for people ages 1–101. She believes it is important to treat the entire family, because dental care and oral health are a family matter.
Dr. Mali McGuire received her Bachelor of Science degree and her Master of Science in Healthcare Systems Engineering from Loyola Marymount University. She went on to earn she her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry (UOP) in San Francisco.
Due to her love for learning, she continued on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry certificate program where she grew passionate for implants, digital dental technology, and treating people with complex medical histories and with disabilities. She also developed and expanded her skill set for multi-phase treatment planning and providing oral health solutions tailored to her pediatric, dentally anxious and geriatric patients. Dr. McGuire was then selected to serve as Chief Resident at California Pacific Medical Center and taught within the oral surgery, pediatric and special care clinics at UOP.
Dr. McGuire has lectured on improving oral health for people with disabilities at the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry, the NYU School of Dentistry, and the national Special Care Dentistry Association conference.
Overall, Dr. McGuire provides care by prioritizing her patient’s oral health while also considering her patient’s comprehensive health in order to encourage them to lead and live a healthier life.
